OK…this blog is different. It’s about one of my passions, my dreams, one of the things I want to do more of, intergenerational gatherings of men. And one is coming up that I am leading in 9 days, April 13-14. You can see the basic idea in the graphic above.
So this is my invitation to all of you men, please consider coming if you can. And all of you women, invite the men in your life, whether they are husbands, brothers, fathers, or boy friends. The video is a brief message from me about the Gathering. Below that are all the details to register. I hope to see many of my blog readers there!
When: Friday night, April 13, and Saturday morning, April 14.
- Start with a Slow-Cooked, Prime Rib Dinner on Friday night, April 13 at 6 p.m. Evening activities end at 9 p.m.
- Reconvene Saturday morning, April 14, at 9 a.m. Breakfast buffet included.
- Conference concludes at 12:30 p.m.
Where: Fellowship Hall, Christ Presbyterian Church, 2323 Old Hickory Blvd. 37215
What: An intergenerational gathering of men speaking to the identity and legacy of men. Featuring lead speakers, Bill Delvaux and Chuck Sugar
Who: This event is for all men (single, married) of all ages (13-83).
Cost: $40 per person ($100 family max.)
Deadline to register: Thursday, April 12
I have been to two of these and had a great time, lots of laughs, and left closer to my brothers in the church and Christ. I give this my highest recommendation. It makes me wish I had more than two thumbs to stick up.
Trey
Thanks for the commendation, Trey! Two thumbs up is plenty!
